They offer Nerima or Adachi but salary didn’t look great for the hours
Do you have another part-time job?
Depends on the job.. I worked for Nova business and it was a.good situation…
I had a number of friends who worked with them full-time until 2020(?), and I don’t want to put a dampener on anything, but I heard some pretty bad things…
Wouldn’t you do the research *before* applying and accepting a position?
I work a couple of positions part time for them, and get irregular job from them. Pay is OK and their expectations of how to work are. But they will try to please the client at whatever cost so you may find yourself getting stuck with eye rolling rules.
It’s ok but they have a steady turn over of full timers so I wouldn’t ever go full time.
ALT gig through NOVA?? Oh go for it man! It’s going to be an unforgettable experience.
Okay, I’m not going to do any more of your thinking for you: google “Nova: eikaiwa” and it’s Wikipedia page will come up on the first page of hits. Are you really going to take an ALT job (which, along with eikaiwa itself, are the bottom-rung “teaching” jobs in Japan) from a company that in 2007 experienced the biggest post-war bankruptcy (up to that time) in Japan?
ALT (the job) and NOVA (the employer) have long and ignominious histories in Japan, the latter more so than the former. Take this job at your peril.
You should’ve asked before accepting the job. We could’ve warned you.

Good luck. Sounds like the worst of both worlds.
