Do any conbini have hot milk tea in summer?

Hello! My friends favorite part of japan is hot royal milk tea, but they only have it in winter. Does any rare conbini or vending machine have it in summer? Thank you.

  1. Leave it in direct sunlight for 15 minutes and you’ll be sorted. Really not looking forward to summer again…

  2. hot drinks and summer don’t really mix so I can’t say. You’re hardcore though.

  3. Rather than a frustrating search for it premade in the conbini, why not try out the Blendy, Nestle, Twinings instant sticks or Royal Milk Tea powder instead? Pretty much any drug store or grocery will have this stuff. (The Royal Milk Tea powder is made by Wakodo, Nittoh, Meito, etc)

  4. Some stores still keep a couple warm drinks, but not many. Vending machines go 100% cold. I believe the cold milk teas have heating instructions on the label so you could just microwave it (following the instructions, of course).

  5. I know how frustrating it can be but some do keep them. Personally, I’ve found some at both Lawson and Daily Yamazaki conbinis in different locations. Unfortunately you’d just have to search and search till you find what you’re looking for.

  6. I end up just simulating it with my own hot tea at home. Black tea, cream or creamer, lots of sugar. Keep your eye on the vending machines, though; some of them do keep hot drinks year round but it’s super rare.
