I deleted my yahoo account while in transaction

Yes im dumb i know. I bid on an item and won. I payed and the seller is supposed to send it today. I forgot about it and deleted my account. It was 40,000 yen and im now stressed af. Will i get my money back? It was through PayPay

    Why did you delete it?
    Did you actually want the item? User might ship it if they already prepared for it but I’m guessing if they go and see that ID was deleted they’ll probably think you were a scammer.

    There’s a form for asking questions about yahoo ID here https://support.yahoo-net.jp/form/s/PccLogin but it requires login so you’d need to make a new account, and you can’t make a new account on same phone number for a while after deleting one.

    No idea. They *might* refund you back as paypay points at some point in time if the item doesn’t get shipped. But isn’t paypay also tied to same yahoo ID?

  2. Assuming that you included your address when you paid through PayPay, you’ll likely be fine as long as the sell isn’t just blatantly dishonest. I made a similar mistake before (for a much smaller item) and it arrived even though I erased my account because the seller had my address through the Yahoo! online payment system. They get your address through e-mail when you pay them (and possibly before – I’m not sure). You’ll likely be fine.
