I have separate lists of stores and restaurants and some additional shrines and temples mapped out but I don’t like to trap myself into one set of plans if I find something else cool so I don’t keep them in my main itinerary. Suggestions? I know my Osaka and Kyoto days are a bit crazy but I tried to break them up.

Would this itinerary be worth getting a JR pass for? My Hakone to Kyoto and Osaka to Tokyo trips are more than a week apart so that’s a bit frustrating.

  1. Might need to format this a bit better – very hard to read at least on old reddit.
