  2. From a quick Google, if they let you off these islands, I would say yes with caveats. You’d have to drive it there, which would be tricky. The car cannot be there for longer than 1y (although this may vary through the jurisdictions). And you’d need to have a proper (J) country sticker somewhere around the rear plate. And you’d probably be singled out for a random check quite frequently.
