Hello,
I will be staying in Tokyo for 6 months starting at the end of June. I’m bringing my service animal with me and he is on a diet of ground beef, brown rice, and peas/carrots.
My question is: Do grocery stores in Tokyo typically carry ground beef by the pound and what is the typical price per pound?
His diet is pretty strict due to allergies so I have to stick as close to this formula as possible.

When I was last living in Japan, they had ground beef by the pound. As for the current price? I can’t tell you since I moved back to the States a year ago.
Depends on the area. A lot of ground beef had some pork mixed in with it.
There is Costco in Tokyo….
It will likely be sold by the kilogram
