Does anyone know a good mnemonic to remember syllabary order?
I can remember the order of the vowels just fine あいうえお but if you asked me to write out the whole chart I would struggle because I can never remember the order of the consonant sounds like かさたは etc.
I’ve tried searching but all I can find is stuff about mnemonics to learn how to write the characters themselves.

First of all, I do not know if this is a good idea, however, I just come up with one idea, and this is just about how to memorize a sequence, not for writing or memorizing Hiragana.
Since you have already memorized A/I/U/E/O, then maybe you can just try to memorize A/K/S/T/N/H/M/Y/R/W instead of trying to memorize 50.
Then you can just combie Vowel and Consonant when you need to remember, and as time goes by, you will be more familiar with sequence.
I came up with the dumb mnemonic of reading the order backwards left to right as 笑山は鉈(なた)坂, but this is probably useless for most people who memorize the order at a more reasonable time in their Japanese journey.
The fact that I made it this far without knowing it probably shows that it’s not extremely pressing to memorize it compared to other stuff you should learn
Umbrella, shelf, beach, soft (near enough)
I’ve only been learning Japanese for a month and a half so I’m not the most knowledgeable…why does the order matter as long as you know all of the hiragana/katakana and their sounds?
