What are the correct Kanji for „Willpower“ or „strength of mind“?

1. I guess 意志 would be an okay option

3. Please think carefully about getting a tattoo in a language you cannot read.

4. Not strictly “willpower” but 魂 could be a solid candidate if you want something that sounds less direct and cooler.

5. 張り could be it. 根性 is more common tho.

7. Kanji don’t have meanings, words do, and words need context. Can you provide a sentence that would disambiguate what kind of willpower you’re talking about? There’s lots of synonyms out there and they’re not all appropriate in all situations.
