Genki 1 amazon japan cost

Hey, to all of you who bought the genki book from amazon jp and live in europe, did you pay anything else other than the costs of the book and the transportation costs? For example import fees etc.

  1. I think that depends on your country, it’s not managed on the EU-level AFAIK. Sites like Verasia should be roughly the same cost as shipping from Amazon Japan, even without additional import fees.

  2. If you are within the EU, no you do not pay anything else as there is a free-trade agreement between Japan and the EU.

  3. I live in Spain and have bought several Japanese games before. The price that Amazon list in the receipt before buying the product already include transportation etc. I have only bought from Amazon Japan two times but none of them have brought me a bad surprise.
