Where do you buy your clothes?

I’m in dire need of getting new clothes because my wardrobe “doesn’t exist” to put it bluntly, I have little to none sense of fashion but what I know is I don’t want to wear simple t-shirts and pay like more than 2,000 each. I have come across [this](https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B07YFNJ4ZV/ref=rvi_sccl_1/355-3968700-3109547?pd_rd_w=xeKbV&content-id=amzn1.sym.a4dc92d7-7100-437e-b3e3-2349e8298523&pf_rd_p=a4dc92d7-7100-437e-b3e3-2349e8298523&pf_rd_r=2K6NMB62ZYQ86DGTKZM5&pd_rd_wg=h7cAq&pd_rd_r=7c698e5e-e95c-4ae2-9458-b1d374dd4ebf&pd_rd_i=B07WKKH4JY&psc=1) in amazon, which looks amazing but so does the price. I can’t pay that much for a shirt ofc, but the style is very different to normal simple t-shirts. Is there any brands or websites do you know that I can check and buy myself some stuff? Maybe I can go for like 4-5k for a shirt if it’s very nice “different” Also, I am open to any suggestions on men’s fashion “where to look, how to dress, colors, what to go for etc, anything.”

I really like black and Swaying? stuff on pants, so a unique black shirt with a black pants like Bille Ellish wearing [here](https://imgur.com/a/umCWpV8) looks very nice but I don’t know how to search them or find them.

  1. If you have limited budget but want fashionable/unique stuff, you can go to secondhand shops like Mode Off, TreFacStyle, Second Street. Sizing might be difficult though, if you’re not close to the average Japanese size.

  2. I think you should first head over to r/malefashionadvice and identify a style that you think would suit you best frankly. You could also just go window shopping at large malls as they often feature clothes shops outside of Uniqlo and GM.

Btw the Amazon shirt is called a ghillie or Jacobite/Jacobean shirt in case you didn’t know.
I tried searching for the second Billie Eilish image, the black pants. They might be gothic cargo pants or some sort of techwear.

  3. Most of my stuff is either from gstar, [tradeInn](https://www.tradeinn.com/dressinn/en/mens-clothing/11065/f) or LTT Store. Now gstar you should know. But tradeInn (dressInn, bikeInn, whateverInn etc) sells a huge range of stuff, but its online so you need to know sizes. Shipping can take a while but I have got some great stuff from there.

[LTT Store](https://www.lttstore.com/collections/clothing) is a curveball. I just get what is technically youtuber merch because the quality is unmatched. There is nothing that screens fashion, but its all kind of smart casual and very good quality.

  4. One concept in women’s fashion that would carry over very well for men’s fashion, I think, is the capsule wardrobe.

The idea is that for each season, you buy three tops, three bottoms and possibly three covers (sweaters, blazers, cardigans, etc). That way, you can spend extra money on great pieces that will last for years. It also opens you up to more possibilities. All items coordinate with each other — Shirt A goes well with the jeans, the cargo pants and the black pants, as well as the cardigan, vest and denim jacket, for example.

I often buy my clothes from Macy’s and Land’s End for the best fit, and I’ve seen items in the past. Uniqlo is often good value for the money.

Try them on if buying in stores, and make sure they fit and make you feel great. If your wrists are dangling out and your ankles show, you may need Western sources. If they are too long, you can get things altered to fit you perfectly.
