Is that 300 yen? What’s that in USD? I just want to know how much Mitsuwa is charging for shipping
Duck season.
And myoga!? Lucky.
If you ever get the chance to buy them with the stems on, try it. Cut them about 8cm (3in) long and boil them. Like mildly spicy green beans.
Was told you rarely see the stems because the companies that make tube wasabi buy them to say there is real wasabi in it.
That would be well over $150 in the US…the prices of real wasabi in the US make me sad inside my soul. I get real wasabi tube from Shiz for like $6. Closest I can get at the right price point. Only downside is all the additives. Sometimes you just want your wasabi to only be wasabi 😔
myoga too!
A wasabi root this size at my local Japanese market is over $80 USD. r/Seattle
