How hard it is to get into Ritsumeikan University Graduate School of International Relations?

Hello everyone, I’m currently a student expected to graduate by the end of the year. My bachelor is Japanese Language, Culture and Society, but as my curriculum is economics and law, I had exams such as Economy, International Relations and Law so it should be suited enough.

What’s really bothering me is my not spectacular GPA: it should be around 3.3/3.4. Can I still dream or this university program is it just THAT exclusive (I do know that the number of openings each year)?

Also, during the application process they ask for the bachelor thesis (if applicable!!): I was already planning to write a more literature-oriented thesis (just because I found a topic I really enjoy) and I actually already contacted my professor, BUT if I do have a chance on entering, I would totally consider doing a more International Relations’ related work.

Anyway that’s it – it would be great if some of you already have some experiences in this University (the one in Kyoto!) or if you know about its reputation ecc.
Thank you 🙂
