Hi all! We are going to Japan for the first time in November! I’ve never traveled abroad before so planning this was hectic and there are so many things I want to see and do but want to make a realistic itinerary. Also had an extra day and a half towards the end and unsure if we should take a day trip to Kawaguchiko from Tokyo?
Open to any suggestions or recommendations! Thanks so much!

Not sure where you are coming from but just be aware of jet lag on your first few days potentially impacting your itinerary!
I am in Japan rn and went to Kawaguchiko for a day trip last week (appreciate it is a different season now so not sure what the weather will be like in Nov) and it was my favourite day so far – you can hire bikes and cycle leisurely around the whole lake in 3-4 hours including stopping for food/pictures – I would highly recommend it to anyone with a free day. Get an early bus from Shinjuku and you can spend the full day there. Good luck with your trip!
