hello guys. im from malaysia and im hoping to get into japan to work part time for a few months but have no idea how i can get in.
1) does anyone know if japan does work and holiday visas and what do i require to get it?
OR
2) does anyone know places in tokyo that allows foreigners to come in and work for a short period of a few months to be an apprentice potter. i do have some knowledge of making ceramics but im not intermediate level yet. was thinking to work as an apprentice to help out and learn more about japanese ceramics.
ps. i lived in japan for almost 5 years before this as well and i can converse in japanese but not super fluently. i have N2 currently :).

Yes, but they don’t have a WHV arrangement with Malaysia: [https://www.mofa.go.jp/j_info/visit/w_holiday/index.html](https://www.mofa.go.jp/j_info/visit/w_holiday/index.html)

What you’re looking for is the Cultural Activities visa.
Bear in mind that that is a *non-working* visa. You would be required to pay your own way, and would not be allowed to work at all to offset the costs.
