So I am leaving for Japan next week and just found out I can only bring 60 days worth of contact lenses. Issue is I just bought a years worth. Can I have the rest shipped to me every 2 months (60 days at a time)?
Does anyone have any experience with this? Any advice would be much appreciated as I don’t want to waste 10 months worth of contact lenses. Help!

I wasn’t aware there were any rules regarding this. I moved here in September last year and brought a years worth with me. Didn’t have any issues, and didn’t try to hide them in any way. I guess you could have them mailed to you if you don’t want to run the risk.
Obviously you should follow the law and just submit a https://www.mhlw.go.jp/english/policy/health-medical/pharmaceuticals/dl/qa2.pdf – it’s super easy.
The type of contacts I used to have came in annuals, I wonder how they would take that if I had told them … much teeth sucking imagined.
