Due to the particular setup of my school we don’t use textbooks, But instead use picture dictionaries, One for grades one to three, and another for grades 4 to 6.
Unfortunately I have discovered that Oxford Content Areas, that I am currently using for my 4th to 6th grade classes, is being discontinued.
I’m having a really hard time finding a good replacement.
Oxford Picture Dictionary, is quite nice but it’s too childish for them.
Word by Word also has the exact content I want, but the artwork is so old that I would be embarrassed giving it to students in a modern classroom.
And those two books pretty much exhausted the options in my local Junkudo.
Please comment if you have any recommendations of your own.
I am looking for something arranged in catagories not alphabetically.
Many Thanks

How do you feel about Usborne’s First Thousand Words in English?
Have you looked at the [Heinle Picture Dictionary for children](https://eltngl.com/search/productOverview.do?N=200+4294918606&Ntk=P_EPI&Ntt=67667700110231623157332938062013780128&Ntx=mode%2Bmatchallpartial&homePage=false)? I’ve only used the first edition, but it was arranged by categories like rooms of the house, around town, nature, etc.
