Does people in japan know English can u survive on English alone ?

Being from a specific country doesn’t have to do with your PR application. If you stay long enough (depending on your visa) and don’t commit serious violations during your stay in Japan, you won’t have any problems.

This isn’t unique to japan but if you intend to go live in a different country with a different language you should have the decency to learn the language, at least the basics and learn more as you live there
expecting other people to adapt to you and speak english for you is kinda rude, even if Japanese people are generally kind dont take advantage of that fact.

If you dont attempt to even learn and speak the language then you will always be considered as a foreigner. The same goes for any country in the world.
