From my understanding “Gyu” means beef and “katsu” is the preparation, but why does the name repeat like that?
Can agree. Waiting in line two separate times during my week in Japan. Only made it in once out of the two but it was totally worth it. The meat was good but the 4-5 different dipping options made it great
Gyukatsu is superior to tonkatsu imo

It was pretty cheap too. I miss Japan. Kyoto had all the best food
