Recently got my certifications for teaching etc and have started applying for jobs. But I gotta ask, what is up with all the companies asking for letters of reference directly addressed to them? I “was” planning to apply for every job that I found interesting but now I feel bad making my current boss write multiple letters instead of a single “to whomever it concerns” letter.
What do people normally do? Apply to fewer jobs or simply ask your current and former bosses for multiple letters.

Take the same letter and stick it in different envelopes? Or ask them for a copy of the reference so you can edit it with employer names if you want.
it`s a real pain..
You can forge these – I always do – they never check lmao
