I was trying to find Shinkansen deals to Sendai but was having trouble accessing the Ekinet Tokuda value pricing.
For example searching Tokyo station -> Sendai for 30 days in advanced at 10am departure time still brings up 10880 opposed to the 7000¥ value.
Has anyone redeemed the value sale as an Ekinet member successfully? Are my search parameters wrong?

It’s not available on all trains. You need to find train that had “トクだ値設定あり”
Tokudane is amazing and wonderful. Just need to find a train with it available.
Expert hint: sometimes cheaper to get a tokudane Green ticket vs. a regular priced standard ticket.
You probably already know about this, but just in case, the JR Tohoku pass costs 20k yen, lasts for 5 days, and unlimited Shinkansen reserved seats are included on the area.
Alternatively for cheaper transportation, the bus passes have come back.
