Just how true is it that PH JET Programme screening committee place high priority to the following applicants?
1. Someone coming from prestigious universities
2. Someone who has very good credentials
3. Someone who has teaching experience
Or just maybe the competition is just too high? Hence they place value on those people with such edges over the others? Like yeah 50 over 3,500 last year, right? Might as well pick the cream of the crop.
Well anyhow, i’m just really really curious if those hearsays are true. lol.

I’m not from where you live but they really look at you SOP and then your experience. SOP is one of the most important parts of the screening process.
The most important thing they look for is actually how big a fan you are of Manny Pacquiao
From PH here and an applicant last year who was alternated at the end. Last year’s application was intense and competitive. The applicants were a combination of teachers teaching abroad, instructors in PH universities, graduates of prestigious schools, and so on. I am a teacher from a well-known school and, at the same time, a graduate of that school. Also, I hold a MA degree. Based on experience, the shortlisted applicants are not primarily from prestigious universities. Some are even from far provinces. However, I can say that teaching experience abroad is a plus factor. At the end of the day, SOP still plays a significant role in your chances of getting in. Focus on yourself rather than overthinking about the competitive application.
