It doesn’t say anything about needing to cook it anywhere on the package but also doesnt say sushi or sashimi grade. The girl at the grocery store couldnt give me a confident answer.
Carbon treated, you’ll be fine. Just eat it directly after thawing as the carbon will keep it from turning color and smelling off so you won’t know when it turns.
Should be fine. Just give it the sniff test first before eating.
I’ve used these steaks for poke only the problems with yellowfin is quality doesn’t last changes color fast compared to Big Eye tuna sashimi frozen yellowfin maybe depends on when you defrost the steaks hard to tell when frozen 🤙🤙🤙🤙
Yeah should be fine. I worked for The Fresh Market and Whole Foods. That is the way we received our sashimi steaks that we sold. Just slice a hole so it can breath and thaw it over night in the fridge. Should be good to go after 8 to 12 hours
I buy at Aldi ahi tuna Frozen in a bag just like that it has three steaks in it normally I eat them raw for years never an issue….just saying
