Did anyone here apply for PR directly through point system?
I need to “prove” years of experience, from my company in Japan it should be relatively straight forward.
However, I’m trying to understand how to “prove” it for the companies I worked for back home.
I found some things online, but it’s all very vague, I can’t find an official document and/or requirements.
**Edit:**
Thank you everyone for sharing your experience and which info you had in your documents!

I did it. For my “proof” I submitted offer letters and tax returns (and supplied translations I just passed through deep L and cleaned up). I have no idea if that was accepted because they did not break down my points when I got my PR.
EDIT: I actually supplied offer letters and W-2 forms.
I’m confused.

You mean the 80pt/1 year 70pt/3 years HSFP point system?

It would be the same documentation you would submit to get the COE for the HSFP visa or change from your current visa to the HSFP visa.

I did. You have to get a letter of employment from your previous companies with detailed dates of your service.
The only thing I provided was reference letters from the companies I worked abroad before coming to Japan. They didn’t request any additional proof.
