was never an issue before and suddenly became one during the Leftist administration in early 2000s.
It’s a nice article actually. I hope OP didn’t post it here to raise controversy where there is none. The current South Korean administration accepts the display of the flag.
Right now, it’s important to work together to show solidarity against North Korea and China.
It’s the Japanese Navy flag. It’s the only one they’ve got.
That was the past. The future war is with China. Stand united or fall divided.
I hadn’t seen that flag in a while until i played their navy in war thunder and its poor taste and odd given that the Nazi flag isn’t used in game
Anyway, for japanese civilians to use it, i don’t see a problem
But their navy definitely has too much pride invested in that specific flag especially given how its readoption is almost exclusively associated with some of the most mind boggling war crimes in history (from first sino japanese war until WW2)
It’s not the same but when i see some random dude flying the confederate or nazi flag on their car…meh 😕
But if i saw a soldier with those 👀
This always felt like it was more of an afterthought than a point of serious contention.
