  1. When that university grad is the 7th man directing traffic on a 50ft stretch of road part time they shouldn’t count as employed.

    Fun fact: someone at my local city hall is employed to freshly print documents, carry them to the shredder, shred them, pick up more paper, refill the printer, and repeat. Japan’s employment statistics are a bigger lie than trickle down economics.

    Is it really that surprising?

    There are more jobs than there are people. Of course it’s easy to get a job.

  3. I heard the salary of new grad increases. I just hope mid-career recruitment can be more active, so my salary can increase too…

  4. The labor shortage is out of control, TBH. Many of my portfolio companies are having severe difficulties attracting candidates at market rates.
