Planning on moving and am debating between Kichijoji or Musashi Kosugi. Office is down in Meguro. Role is mostly remote.
1. Kichijoji/Mitaka – I’ve been a few times and really like the atmosphere there and the park is a huge plus. My only gripe would be that other than Nakano/Shinjuku/Koenji areas, it seems further from central places in Tokyo. On weekends I’m often out and about at events/classes in Shinjuku, Shibuya, Sanganjaya, Roppongi, Ochanomizu, etc.
2. Musashi Kosugi – I’ve only been once to scope out the place a bit. The biggest appeal is how it seems reasonably close to many places. Can take one train to get to Meguro, Shinjuku, Shibuya, etc.
Which one would you recommend?
edit: Should also add that I don’t really care for nightlife, but want a place that has shopping malls/cafes, supermarkets, nature, etc. I enjoy thrift store shopping and other artsy/hipster places.

If you like the vibe in kichijoji you should check out Gakugei Daigaku. It’ll likely be a much closer commute, neighborhood has a nice vibe but even more local (fewer tourists).
