I asked the clerk about the Ichiban Kuji event but they didn’t really know what I was talking about. I’m not sure how to participate. Do I need a dpoint card? Do I just ask for a ticket? Do I buy the themed items?
You are three weeks late. Zelda Ichiban Kuji started on May 9th and they were all sold out at Lawson in a day or two. I knew cause I went hunting on 10th and couldn’t find any. I was able to buy some at Nintendo Tokyo on 12th, cause they had lots of stock, even managed to get item A. It’s also already sold out there too.
HMV is also one of the resellers, but I doubt that they still have stocks now.
The appli-kuji event ends today but how it works is if you have a ponta card or a d-point card and you buy at least 800 yen worth of stuff you can go to the Lawson app and draw for a prize. Some are Zelda-themed and some are just coupons for chicken and stuff.
It’s so weird to me that this flew off the shelves, because the quality of that raffle *sucked*. A sword is kind of cool, followed by some canvas images, then just the usual junk, almost nothing looked good to me.
To answer the actual question (jeeze guys)
Usually for the kuji items, the display *should* have a small ticket that you give to the staff. They will take it, and you pay for however many draws you want. Then they give you a little box where you choose a ticket pack, open it to see what prize you get.
Sometimes they are hard to spot but usually in the corners near the bottom. Or you can ask the staff. You don’t need a point card.
