How to replace gas/CO2 monitor?

I live in an apartment. I found my gas leak monitor expired last year (I know, it’s just in a spot where i don’t often have a peep at the underside where the expiry date is). I asked my landlord about it and he gave me a number to call to get it replaced. Problem is i lost the slip of paper with the number on it and am embarrassed to ask the landlord for it again if it can be helped lmao. I looked on the gas company website but the only way to sign up for replacement is by inputting a number that was supposed to be sent to me via a postcard. It would have arrived last year I imagine but I have no memory of it nor is it turning up anywhere. Should I call around the local branches of the gas company? How does everyone get theres replaced having lost the postcard?

  1. You can likely call or email the place, let them know your monitor expired and you never received a card for a replacement, and give them your address. They might be able to send someone out to get you set up with just that info.

  2. Ask your landlord again whilst wearing an apologetic smile and handing him a bottle of decent sake or red wine. You will be forgiven.
