Why is it that stupid ATMs in Japan allow a person to deposit a huge amount of cash and coins and then take a minute or more to count it all but allow the person to remove their card or bankbook and be on their way thus forcing the next person in line to wait? Wouldn’t it make more sense to make the person wait to retrieve their card once the counting is done? Oh wait, I forgot, this is Japan!

Why? If you were the person doing the cash deposit do you want to stand around for the machine to finish?
My bank does not do this. Their ATMs count all the coins and bills, total them up, then return your passbook with the transaction details printed
Stupid Japan! (am i doing this right?)
So that instead of one person waiting, you want two people waiting and somehow think that is a better idea?
Do you have a “back of someone’s head” fetish?
That’s ok.
You could get robbed by a group of kids in Paris or at knife point in London.
Pretty tame here.
Are you ok, op?
Stupid ATM! You make me look bad.

My point is why does the next person have to wait longer than they should have to? Or when people spend like 10 minutes trying to furikomi some money or use pay-easy which should really be called pay-nin the ass!
