Scallop sushi from hmart


I got this from a hmart near my house, just wondering if scallops are OK to eat raw, or are you suppose to cook these first. Don’t mind the clumpiness, it got tossed around a bit on the way home.

  1. A lil nigiri style, lightly seared or torched, with some soy sauce and wasabi *chefs kiss* can’t go wrong.

  2. What makes this different than scallops from a solid retailer like Whole Foods?

  3. It’s probably fine raw. But, like anything raw, there is a chance of illness.

  4. The plastic grass bothers me with how widespread and utterly pointless it is.
