App: Learn Japanese Speaking with AI Teacher Aoi – A New Way to Practice Speaking Japanese

Hello everyone,I’m delighted to present an app that I’ve been developing, called “Learn Japanese Speaking with AI Teacher Aoi”. This app features Aoi, an AI Japanese speaking teacher, who serves as your personal 24-hour speaking tutor.Key Features of the App:

1. Engage in free-flowing conversations with AI for stress-free real-world practice.
2. Tips and translation features to create your personalized dialogues.
3. Real-time pronunciation feedback and correction.
4. 1000 dialogues lessons from native Japanese.
5. Boost your confidence in real-life Japanese conversations.

The app was launched in Asia three months ago, and we’re thrilled to have 3000 users and an average rating of 4.9. We’ve recently completed the English version of the app and are now looking forward to hearing your thoughts and suggestions.

Thank you for your feedback and apologies for any confusion. I should have clarified first that our app is not free due to the costs associated with running the voice recognition server and ChatGPT for conversation, providing tips, translations, and grammar corrections.Currently, we offer the Day1’s lesson and three AI conversation trials for users to test the app’s functionality. We assumed this would be sufficient for users to understand the app.

  1. On the fourth image on iOS app page, the 、 and 。 are “floating” rather than sitting at the bottom – I’m talking about [this](https://tontotakumi.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/666e6bae702afbbee34152ed1fc6a1ba.png), for those who have no idea what I’m taking about. It’s immediately obvious for anyone with considerable amount of Japanese experience I think…

Anyways, the fact the devs of this app didn’t notice this (or considered it a problem) on an image they used on the App Store is highly concerning imo.

  2. I wish there was furigana with the kanji or a typing option instead of speaking , also the app design is a little bit off;i like the big font but it just looks like it needs some more detailed design, also it may be my personal preference but I don’t like the AI face it seems unnecessary and lags, just a simple ai that types/talks back is better like google assistant or so.

  3. Asks for money. Cannot access it without paying sub. Haha nice one dude

  4. I tried the app, and it’s a pretty fun way to learn new sentences! Thanks! 👍
