Would you trust this sashimi-grade ahi tuna from Mariano’s?


I bought the $6.69 package. Planning to make nigiri tonight, do you think it’s safe? Never bought sashimi grade fish from a chain grocery store before, but I assume it’s the same they use for their sushi.

Any concerns with cross contamination or anything? Thanks!

  1. As long as it was frozen properly there is little to worry about when it comes to bacteria or parasites.

  2. I have used these steaks only for spicy Ahi poke it’s hit or miss on quality ✌️✌️✌️
