I’m looking for a place near Tokyo where I can go horseback riding (canter trail) outdoors.
It would be great if the place has a shuttle service as transportation and half day horse riding.
Is anyone knows of such a place or somewhere to recommend?
I always go alone, so it would be even better if it’s okay to join as solo.
In case, I have a Level 5 license for riding.

I’ve googled around a bit but have only found english style riding schools and members only clubs. Would love a trail ride – one of the few things I miss about LA.

Tama Hills recreation area, but you’ll unfortunately need an escort as it’s a military area.
Riding centers exit in Chiba, but are massively,massively expensive. English is not really spoken, and they seem geared towards long term clientele, as opposed to people who want to head out and ride around for an hour.
Thank you for posting this. I’m sorry you are getting downvoted and a snarky response. This is an excellent question that benefits our community. I had no idea that horseback riding was a thing I might do without buying into a whole giant rich person’s hobby and if it is something that exists anywhere in Kanto, it’s worth knowing about and spreading the word.
