Transport from Osaka cruise terminal.

I’ll be spending a day in Osaka. I’m having difficulty finding info on how to get from the cruise terminal to Osaka or Kobe. I was going to hire a guide but if it’s relatively easy to get around I’ll tour by myself. Thank you!
