Do the japanese actually like black people

Heya it’s me (again) firstly I would like to apologise for this post, feel like it could be triggering for some people. Am that type of person that if someone tells me to just have fun I worry about every possibility under the sun before the thought pf resting even comes to my mind. I mean the question is kinda a shallow one in that it depends on the person and their preferences but say I were to go to Japan and find a partner their. Am I more likely to be denied because of my skin? BUT I know japan is kinda rasist and I accept that and I guess it’s something I have to deal with but then my question is “is it a problem in regards to dating”

  1. Some are open to dating only because “they’ve never been with a black girl” and others are more genuine. Easy to see the difference ha. Japan is still a very homogenous country and so a lot of Japanese people are still wary of any foreigners. It’s unfortunate we get the bane of the wariness. When I was teaching, my kids had many assumptions about us due to movies and whatever their parents told them. Source: my experience

  2. Dating? I guess it would be similar to living in any country where there aren’t many black people.

  3. I was in the military my first time to Japan. Ended up going back a couple times. I’ve been all over Japan. Not once did I ever feel alienated or discriminated against. They love talking to us at bars, about music and clothes, and blacks can be seen as exotic. When im in Japan I feel safe and valued. It’s my favorite country. The Japanese love black people.
