I am planning to convert my foreign licence and have been told to go to either Samezu or Fuchu test center. Any recommendations on which gives a smoother experience?
Does any one know what are the current wait times for the driving test in 2023? (Yup, I hold a foreign license that needs the actual driving test, sadly.)
Also, can I book a Fuchu test from Samezu?

i just booked a test in samezu on august 18 when i went to apply for conversion like 2 wks ago so expect roughly 3 mths wait for samezu… wondering if i can just switch to fuchu instead now
Fuchu and Samezu manage their license conversions separately. You’ll probably have to call to cancel your conversions and reapply by going to the other driving license center in person.
Around 2022 April, I was at Fuchu Driving License Center and asked what’s the wait time for conversion tests, and the officer replied 2 months.
Samezu has typically been 3 months, from what I’ve heard.
