LibreOffice Calc template for Anki with integration to Jisho.org

Hello everyone, I wanted to share a LibreOffice Calc template I’ve made for Anki cards creation.

Usually I fill my Anki decks by filling in a Calc sheet, exporting it as a CSV file and importing it into Anki. However, I got annoyed by going back and forth between LibreOffice and Jisho opened in another window to check what is the correct kanji or if I got the correct kana.

So, what the template does is it contains macros to send requests to Jisho inside LibreOffice Calc itself. The search results are showed in a dropdown. When one of the results in the dropdown is selected, custom functions fill the furigana/kanji/kana columns automatically.

You can download the template and read the full explanation on how it works and how it can be customized in the Github repository [https://github.com/Ruta9/LibreOffice-Anki-Template](https://github.com/Ruta9/LibreOffice-Anki-Template)

I hope this will be useful for someone. If there are any issues using it or setting it up, please let me know!
