Suggestion for good english-speaking dentist

I might need a ceramic onlay or a root canal/crown depending on how deep the cavity is (can only be known after the treatment has started). That’s what my dentist back home told me and I didn’t have enough time to do the treatment there.

I would really prefer to avoid a root canal if possible.

Would you have any recommendations for a dentist in *Tokyo*?
Thank you a lot

  1. Satoshi Morikawa at Keio University Hospital in Shinanomachi. Fantastic guy and solved a huge problem that a previous quack had created.

  2. International Dental Clinic if you aren’t price sensitive. They have several locations.

  3. Oshima clinic in Takadanobaba.

I used to teach the dentist here English years ago. He’s a very sweet and very funny guy. I used to meet him for drinks sometimes. Brilliant fellow. Tell him that his (now in Wakayama) former English teacher sent you and that his wife is pregnant. Thanks. Lol.

  4. Motoazabu Hills Dental Clinic. The dentist is outstanding and speaks perfect English. My husband just went through something similar and the dentist did a great job. Take care!

  5. Harajuku First Dental (literally 1 minute away from Meiji-Jingu Mae station).
It’s a very small office but the dentist speaks English and even French and accepts NHI. He’s very kind and always makes sure you don’t feel any pain.
    You can also book online.
