buy a USB to ide/sata adapter off Amazon jp for like 1000 yen and have at it yourself. by “recover” you mean just read data right? because if they’re broken you’re going to be looking at significantly higher costs.
Kinkos advertises instore service, where you go in the store, then they give you a flyer and tell you to go away.
I don’t go there anymore.
My friend’s laptop got wrecked in a flood and he just took it to Bic Camera and they transferred everything to his new laptop. Maybe they can do that for you as well?
