The NJPW 1985 dojo class: perhaps the best of all time.

  1. Interesting tidbits: Funaki was the youngest NJPW dojo member of all time at 15 years old; Chono said that Muto would tell the head trainer Kotetsu Yamamoto that the training was too hard for him, so Yamamoto relented somewhat with Muto, not wanting to lose the judo player (this would turn out to be Muto actually faking how hard the training was for him, in order to get some free time); the gimmick of Jushin Thunder Liger was reportedly offered to both Muto and Funaki, who both declined the gimmick (not wanting to wear a mask) and thus it went to Yamada.

  2. Given his career is swept under the ruck by most now for Obvious reason but i forget Benoit was part of this Dojo class
