My school put the dormitory address in my ERFS form because I didn’t have an address at the time. I was able to secure an Airbnb because I am moving with dogs so there is no way I can stay in the dormitory (the school knows this too).
I read the tracking app they make you download upon arrival uses the address from that form. Do any of you have any experience changing that address? Would this require my school to request a brand new form? Should I wait until I get my visa before attempting any changes?
I would love to know your experience with this so far.

I changed my flight and accomodations after my boss sent me my ERFS and he said that the form does not need to be redone. Below is a response my boss got when asking about this.

I changed my hotel after doing the initial EFRS and notified my immigration firm. They said they would need to reapply the EFRS with the new address. It’s possible it won’t matter, but Japanese immigration is known for being a stickler with incorrect info. They reapplied for me with the address of the new hotel.
