Itinerary check: 15 days – 28 Sep – 13 Oct – Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka (w/ Nara, Kobe daytrips)

Hi all,

We are a group of 5 people (4 adults in our early twenties, 1 child) from New Zealand traveling to Japan from September 28 to October 13 2023. This is the first time going to Japan for majority of our group and wanted some feedback on our itinerary. We have purposefully left a few days emptyish to refill our energy and get lost in the area. We are a group with a strong interest in Anime (Jojo, One Piece, Vinland, JJK, etc) and cafes.
We would really appreciate any and all feedback on our current planned itinerary.

28 Sep:

\- Land in Tokyo at 5pm.
\- Collect JR Pass and get a Welcome Suica card from the airport
\- Travel to our accommodation in Ariake and hopefully arrive by 8ish
