Ongoing PR Application – Guarantor changed address

Anyone here who applied for PR has any experience about your guarantor changing address while your application is underway? In such case, did you have to inform immigration and submit documents with the updated address?

In the Acknowledgement Letter to be submitted during PR application (the one where you are agreeing to immediately inform immigration for any changes in employment status, civil status, etc.), this was not explicitly mentioned so I am not sure how to proceed…

(I will also ask immigration but lines are busy right now so was wondering if anyone has encountered the same situation)

Thanks!

  1. Just notify immigration anyway. The worst that happens is they say “thanks, but that wasn’t necessary”. But if you don’t do it and you were supposed to, and then they try to verify info with the guarantor, that really doesn’t look good.
