  1. I don’t think it exists outside of “fun practice for people learning kanji” like [this](https://scontent-waw1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.6435-9/122144828_2732592957013632_7227312410084248090_n.jpg?_nc_cat=109&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=973b4a&_nc_ohc=NXUMnGc8Vb0AX8nquB2&_nc_ht=scontent-waw1-1.xx&oh=00_AT-qrFgxr7RJG-lgxXZ-7vmZnTixeer6cUbRCUWaXT8vJw&oe=62CCCD34) or [this](https://asiawa.jpf.go.jp/assets/uploads/sites/2/2018/10/180905-3.jpg). There are some professional designs based on that idea like [this](https://www.books.com.tw/products/0010787246?sloc=main).

There is an art combining calligraphy and painting though, you’ll find many examples by searching for 書道アート but it’s not what you described.

  2. I don’t now of any Japanese sources but Chineasy does something like what you described for teaching hanzi.
