Hello everyone 🙂 I recently moved to Japan and am trying to figure out the recycling system here. I live in Chatan, Okinawa and I read through the recycling guide ([link here](https://www.chatan.jp/seikatsuguide/gomi_recycle/shushu/bumbetsu_dashikata.files/eizipanfuR2.pdf)) and it seems to me that anything marked “pura” for plastic should be put in the burnables. Is that correct? If so, does anyone know why they can’t be recycled here? Thanks in advance for any help

um, the link you provide shows that PET stuff is recyclable and that you should do it, but some plastic stuff like sauce/shampoo bottles needs to go into burnable. page 6
