As someone who has spent more than their fair share of time in hospitals, I’m looking to get some extra insurance now my soon-to-be-ex has cancelled what I have been using.
Does anyone have a company they recommend? Easy to deal with over the phone (doesn’t need to be in English) with reasonable rates and swift reimbursement?

I’ve been very happy with [co-op’s](https://coopkyosai.coop/) insurance program. I pay 1000 yen a month for extended hospital stays, surgeries, etc. I used them when I had my c section. They paid for my private room and for a portion of the c section too. I think it took less than a week from submitting the claim to receiving the money.
