1. Is the term rough neck known in Japanese or is it just something that sounds cool?

   It’s better than gene blast which I’m guessing sounds cool for the Japanese audience but is weird in English.

2. It’s like they decided on his look when he was a young lion then saw how over he was with Moxley and just slapped it together

3. I didn’t see any of his rev pro stuff so I had no idea what his gear was gonna look like his first match back in new Japan, then he comes out looking like Tanahashi Jr and I was like wait what??😂

4. Personally, I’d love the idea of Shota coming out looking all flamboyant and extra like Tanahashi, but then be an absolute menace in the ring like Suzuki or Kawada, who strikes fear into the hearts of heels unlucky enough to be on the other side of him.

6. Shota is really the one who came back from excursion still had me confused about what his gimmick/ whole package is about, not even Wato during the pandemic era confused me that much.

14. He seems like a combo of Tana (gear) and Naito (frizzy hair) and wants to be like Mox (roughneck) called Shooter. Shooter is a cool name. It would fit heel or face.
