Probably somewhere on Discord or Mastodon but i doubt it will be permanent. While i respect the intention it really depends on how stubborn the sub owner is, a lot of the subs participating (especially the biggest) are doing it for two days and at that point it will run out of steam.
Why is the sub closing?
…Wait, have the rules changed? I thought it was from June 12th to the 14th…?
…Though admittedly, I was going to go slightly longer anyways…
Hey! I was born and raised in Japan, and recently I hjave started tutoring Japanese through video games. Now that I read your post, I was wondering if you are interested in improving your Japanese along with other students, even after this page gets shut down. Let me know if you are interested!
You could just make an /r/learnjapanese2 if you wanted to
If anyone is interested in moving to the Fediverse, I made a Lemmy community at https://lemmy.ml/c/learnjapanese . I haven’t had time to do much of anything there yet but I’d be happy to have anyone from this sub posting and contributing there!
bro its not gonna be forever. you can’t survive for like max one week without reddit? Indefinitely in this context does not mean until the end of time. it just means the end has not been specified yet.
these protests have happened across reddit throughout the years when reddit makes a bad decision. they mostly work, and then the subs open back up a couple days later. its like a union strike but for reddit mods.
Private? Does that mean I can’t see it anymore?
Admins could create a Discord server maybe? 🤔
