Why tho
I enjoyed your questions and contributions for quite a while (all I’ll say is that I used to post under a different account and we interacted quite a bit), so the feeling is mutual, FWIW.

Also, just FYI, 忘れないつもりです has a nuance of “I’ll try not to forget…(but I may end up doing so anyway, so…)” and is probably more common when expressing a contrary-to-fact sentiment (e.g. 忘れないつもりだったけど…, 忘れないつもりでいても, etc. etc.)
If that’s your intention, no worries. If you want a slightly more emphatic “I’ll never forget”, I’d suggest something like 決して忘れない/一生忘れない/忘れたりはしないよ, etc., or something along those lines, which would make the sentiment sound stronger.

It’s for the best to be honest, every person here serious about learning will suddenly start making more gains as they suddenly find they have more time to actually study for some ***mysterious*** reason. Or maybe they’ll just watch more youtube videos who knows.
The sub will either be back within 1 week or somebody will make r/LearnJapanese_new
