  1. Not only a great counter but an important moment in the Golden Lovers history. The only reason AJ had time to get up and counter the Phoenix Splash was because of Kennys distraction

  2. He had done it before vs Low Ki in ROH, but it was awesomely used here to shock end the match

  3. When I first time watching new, it blew my mind lol and it still is.

  4. AJ always gets the credit for this counter and while he did do his part phenomenally, Ibushi is the one doing most of the work here. The body control and precision he needs to have to pull that off all the way from the top rope and land perfectly in the place AJ has to catch him in is unreal. Ibushi is honestly one of the best athletes ever in wrestling.

  5. I think the “Styles clash” is a dumb finisher. Right up there with Claudio’s. Both great workers and amazing athletes. Just not eye catching to me. The work Aj did in Japan is legendary. The stories along with the matches were just amazing

  6. I love how often one of the best things anyone has seen or done in wrestling is AJ Styles doing something that he’s still kinda doing to this day at 40 something years old. What an amazing wrestler.

  7. How no one has never been injured by that move is beyond me !!! … or has someone 🤔

  8. I always forget how strong AJ actually is because he is great at just about everything and even with a lighter opponent, that is still difficult as hell to do and the margin for error is large.

  9. Prime AJ Styles is untouchable!!! All the current bests have somewhat derived from AJ
